HOW IT WORKS
Private workshops can be booked at any time of year with advance notice, to be held in person or online. Examples are listed above, but lesson plans and subjects can often be customized. When workshops take place in my studio all supplies are included, or if online I’ll send a short supply list. Workshops at my studio can hold a maximum of 6 painters. Workshops held online or offsite can accommodate 10+. Most workshops are designed to be accessible to all levels of painters, including beginners, unless otherwise requested by your group. Instruction is accessible to painters over age 12.

FAQ
Why 2 hours?
2 hour workshops are great for friend groups, team building events, or social events. It will give you a good taste of the medium and you’ll leave with a small finished painting. Longer workshops are also available by request.
Do you offer longer (private) workshops or a multi-week week (private) class?
Yes, for established groups who come together. Contact me to discuss options.
Who will we be painting with?
These are private workshops, meaning that your group will be the only guests in attendance. I don’t pair painters up, you must come together. Any public workshops I’m holding can be found at the top of this page when available. Sign up for my newsletter to be made aware of any upcoming workshops and classes.
What if I have my own supplies?
Great! You’ll be welcome to bring them. I will send you a supply list before the class. Typically it’s a bit simpler to allow me to take care of the supplies so the setup and cleanup doesn’t eat into your painting time, but it’s up to you.
Will all of our paintings look the same?
No! Your work will be unique and what you leave with will be a total surprise. My workshops are structured but they allow for a good deal of creative freedom.
What are your Covid-19 protocols?
Public health recommendations are changing all the time and it’s best to check in about this before booking a group at my studio. I follow all recommendations (and then some) to keep my students as safe as possible and I’m happy to talk about this openly with all potential clients.
Can we BYOB or food?
Yes! But please let me know in advance so I can clear a space for it if needed.
What’s the cancellation policy for private workshops?
Once booked, the time you have reserved is blocked from booking by other painters. Workshops can be rescheduled once if I’m given 24 hours advance notice. No refunds are possible but you may gift your workshop to another painter if you’re no longer able to use it.
